Four people were killed and two injured Thursday when a US drone fired missiles in Pakistan's northwest, a media report said.

The attack took place early in the morning. A US drone launched two missiles at a house in Miranshah area of North Waziristan, a militancy hit tribal area at Pakistan-Afghanistan border, reported Xinhua citing a TV report.

It is the second US drone strike in North Waziristan in two days.

On Wednesday, a US drone fired missiles, killing 10 people.

The US resumed drone strike in Waziristan tribal region in January after a two-month lull.
